Amna Zeb Becomes First Pakistani to Join Master’s in Sustainable Humanitarian Action at DIHAD
LUMS is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Amna Zeb, an MS in Business and Public Policy ’22 graduate, who has been selected as the first ever Pakistani to pursue the Master’s in Sustainable Humanitarian Action at DIHAD Humanitarian College in collaboration with LUISS School of Government, Class of 2026, on a full scholarship.
The highly competitive program received more than 8,125 applications from over 140 countries. Amna was chosen for her strong academic background and a decade long professional experience in social intervention and public sector reform, particularly her work in humanitarian response, complaint resolution systems, women focused policy design, and governance reforms at the Chief Minister’s Office Punjab.
Over the past decade, Amna has led and supported large scale humanitarian and social protection initiatives. Her contributions include policy formulation, digital governance dashboards, gender focused interventions, citizen complaint redressal systems, as well as humanitarian response and governance reforms. Throughout her career, she has maintained a focus on sustainable humanitarian impact, an area she now aims to advance further through this international academic platform.
Amna credits much of her success to her time at LUMS. The rigorous education and diverse perspectives she encountered there strengthened her foundation in public policy, governance, and sustainable development, and played a transformative role in shaping her analytical and leadership capacities. These experiences have directly contributed to this achievement and continue to guide her professional journey.
Congratulations, Amna, on this outstanding achievement! We look forward to your future contributions and impact.
