LUMS Welcomes the Class of 2029 at Orientation
LUMS welcomed the Class of 2029 and their families at Orientation 2025 with a series of meaningful academic sessions and community-building conversations. Faculty from across different the university introduced students to their schools, offering guidance on the journey ahead and underscoring the support networks available to them.
Parents were also invited to connect with faculty, tour the campus, and experience the welcoming spirit of the LUMS community. Alongside these academic sessions, students engaged with peers, mentors, and advisors, laying the foundation for belonging, growth, and success at LUMS.

New journeys, warm welcomes, and bright beginnings at LUMS!
Dr. Adnan Zahid, Dean, Office of Student Affairs, welcomed the incoming class at Orientation. Students also attended sessions on academic honesty, course selection, and faculty advice

Dr. Suleman Shahid, Associate Professor at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, encouraged first-year students to explore courses across disciplines and to combine offerings at LUMS in ways that align with their academic interests

Faculty from the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences welcomed new students, and discussed the roadmap to academic success, while also highlighting campus support options, and explaining more about plagiarism and the importance of proper citation

Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ali Cheema, and Dean, Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law, Dr. Sadaf Aziz welcomed the incoming scholars, recognising their dedication and academic excellence
